FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
what is microblading?
There are several other names similar to what's known as 'Microblading'. Such names includes: Eyebrow Embroidery, Cosmetic Tattooing, Micropigmentation, 3D Eyebrows, and Feathered Stroke Brows. This service performs by implanting colour pigment underneath the surface of the skin with a sterile, disposable 6-14 micro needles that is comprised in one. It is used to assemble an illusion of filled eyebrows. Unlike standard tattooing, microblading is used by a manual hand appliance and not an electric tool device to implant pigment versus ink.
is the process painful?
We will initiate the process with anesthetic for numbing prior and during the procedure to alleviate your physical displeasure. However, depending on your pain tolerance and responsiveness, we cannot guarantee that you will not be experiencing any discomfort. Our effort is to ensure the best of ease during the duration.

PLEASE NOTE:

Will the eyebrows be shaved?
Your eyebrows will remain the way it is. Unnecessarily stray of hair will be removed. You may modify and reshape for your own preferences, however, we will also begin the session with a brief consultation (please read below to see what you can expect).
what can i expect the process to be like?
- Brow consultation (30 minutes):
- Design a suitable shape for your face based on your face structure, face shape, eye placement, and how you do your daily makeup routine.
- Remove stray hairs.
- Choose the appropriate choice of colour based on the colour of your hair and the colour of your skin.
- Anesthetic (lidocaine cream) is applied to ensure absolute comfort.
- Separate numbing will undergo during the procedure.
- The process will enact with pigment implanting beneath the layer of skin for hair-like strokes.
how long does it last?
It depends on each individuals skin and lifestyle. On an average, it will last up to 12-18 months. The pigment naturally exfoliates out of the skin over time which cause an effect to lighten. Since the pigment has a thick consistency, the pigment leaves fine strokes under the skin unlike the ink. The ink is more watery in texture that spills under the skin and gives more control to stay permanent. However, the pigment will allow interchange of eyebrows if desired shape and/or colour happens to differentiate subsequently. We highly recommend to get your touch up annually to keep it looking full and bold, and for the colour to stay refreshed.
How often are touch ups required?
Some individuals will require two sessions (which normally is 4-6 weeks apart for the healing process to complete) depending on the outlook of the eyebrows:
- Oppose to clients with fuller brows, clients with little or no eyebrows will tend to have more sessions.
- Oppose to clients with normal skin type, clients with oiler skin will not retain the ink abundantly (during consultation, we will evaluate and discuss your skin type for better alternations and other recommendations).
